Pow'r play

Pow'r Play Entertainment is looking to create a new superhero character to add to their collection of characters to place on trading cards and display them in their up-comming trade show. Trade show banners and booth layout were also designed by me. They already had two other characters made by other designers, but were in need of a third.
Spectra is a superhero with phantasmal abilities and fights powerful foes from ghostly realms. Her powers are influenced by the ghost realm, known as "The Fold" and when she connects to the fold, her powers ignite in the form of ectoplasmic blobs of energy. other powers also include invisibility, passing through solid objects, mind reading, and even possession.

I imagined that her design would reflect that of a ghost or phantom, but also some what like a knight. White is the dominant colour in her outfit as a call back to the white wrappings of Egyptian mummies, or burial shrouds made of white linen. White is also usually associated with goodness, and blue being the colour of calmness, together give a sense that this character is "A benevolent being who can be trusted".
Photoshop was used to design her character, and Adobe Dimensions was used to design the layout of the trade show booth.
