Circle Apparel
Project Overview
Circle is an apparel company that specializes in using recycled and renewable textiles that are ethically produced as part of their commitment to fair trade. Circle was interested in building brand identity. They requested a logo and a unique design to place on stationary items and brand apparel for marketing purposes and brand appeal to an eco-conscious audience.
My Contributions
Using ferns that I pulled from the garden, I created a pattern that could be replicated by first producing them as sketches in my sketchbook, then scanned in and drawn using illustrator, which can then be reproduced in multiple applications.
Their logo design incorporates as much symbolism as possible into a simplistic symbol. The triangle and circle join together in one continues line to represent the interconnection of life on earth.
The colour palette should reflect the feeling of the natural world. Green was considered the best choice to represent the brands commitment to being climate-conscious.
